Alter Jamboard settings

As an ambassador, you can change settings for your Jamboards. Some settings modify all Jamboards in your system, while other settings modify only individual Jamboards.

Alter settings for all Jamboards

You can view, modify, and update these settings for all Jamboards.

  1. From the Admin console Dwelling house page, go to Devices and then Jamboard devices.

    Some features may require having the Jamboard Management privilege.

  2. At the top correct, click Settings "".

  3. Click a setting to change it. See the list of settings below.

  4. Click Salve.

Setting Details
Screensaver bulletin Enter a message upwardly to 120 characters to display on the Jamboard screen saver.
Strict sharing When saving a jam at a lath, strict sharing requires the owner of a jam to confirm by email.
Jam timeout Yous tin can prepare a timeout value for all Jamboards in your organization. After a Jamboard is inactive for the set menses of fourth dimension, a message notifies users that they tin can either keep the jam open up or it will close immediately.

Note: If the jam does not take an owner, it isn't saved.

Chromecast streaming Ready whether you'd like your Jamboards to be able to stream media using Chromecast.

Change settings for a unmarried Jamboard

You can view, modify, and update these settings for private Jamboards.

  1. From the Admin console Habitation page, get to Devices and then Jamboard devices.

    Some features may require having the Jamboard Management privilege.

  2. To search for specific boards, at the top, click Add together a filter. Choose a filter such equally the Proper name, Location, Note, Wellness, or Condition.
  3. Click a Jamboard to view and edit its settings.
  4. To the right of the Device settings department, click the Down arrow "", then click the setting to change it.
  5. Click Save.
Setting Details
Proper name Set a unique name to identify your Jamboard.
Location Enter the location of your Jamboard (such as the conference room where you lot utilize information technology).
Videoconferencing configuration Pair your board with a room calendar or a Google Meet hardware device. See Set up a Jamboard for video meetings.
Screensaver timeout (minutes) Ready how long (in minutes) the Jamboard can idle before the screen saver activates. The maximum delay you can set is 1440 minutes (one day).
Demo mode availability Choose whether an interactive demo displays on the lath. See Turn on Jamboard demonstrations.
WiFi SSID Add the Wi-Fi network name.
Notes Add together a note virtually the Jamboard.
Send log data to Google Choose whether to ship information to Google.
Language Choose a language to be used on the Jamboard. Jamboard currently only supports English language and Japanese.
Time zone Set the time zone for the Jamboard.
Additional Keyboards Add an additional keyboard for the Jamboard. Jamboard currently simply supports English and Japanese.
